Change management has never been given importance as much as it deserves. One of the biggest mistake I have seen while NetSuite ERP gets implemented is not realizing the need for Organizational Change Management. I have heard project leaders say “The functionalities were implemented as they were expected but users had a resistance to use the system”.
From being a simple cloud-based financial management system to a cross-functional, cross-departmental integrated enterprise management system, NetSuite has come a long way. The complexities which can be managed with NetSuite across businesses of an enterprise only limited to your imagination. Having said that, a successful implementation can be only achieved if things are planned the right way.
One of my client I was consulting with asked me this question while I was engaging with him on his next ERP purchase, and I thought this should be my next blog post so everyone knows where to go while they purchase NetSuite.
NetSuite basically gets it’s market reach from 2 channels.
Direct: This is basically the NetSuite (Or oracle team) trying to sell NetSuite to it’s prospects.
Partner: The partner who can sell NetSuite license is known as the NetSuite Solution Provide partner. There are other types of partners like referral or Alliance but these are basically only lead generation sources for the NetSuite direct team to sell Licenses and are more interested in the professional services.
